Because of the running blog I maintain to report on new research (Run Research Junkie), I obviously keep a close eye on what is going on in running. A drill called 100-Up has come up on the radar scope a number of times. What I find most interesting is not the drill itself, but how people respond to it. There is no evidence for it helping, it was first used in the 1800’s and has been recently ‘rediscovered’. To me it just shows are gullible the running ‘market’ is in the way they have fallen in love with! I first wrote about it here and more recently here.
